1890
Our company dates back to the end of the 19th century, when all began from Pavlos Thomoglou, a senior technician at the Multinational company Oriental Carpet in Sparta of Asia Minor, where he crafted carpets.
1921
Following the destruction of Asia Minor and prosecution of Greeks in 1921, the forefather Pavlos Thomoglou, along with his family, followed the route Greeks were taking and established himself in Athens where he formed his own carpet craftmanship in Nea Ionia. It was one of three which he formed, the other two were based in Vyronas and Kaisariani.
1930
In 1930, along with his son, Kosmas Thomoglou, the forefather of Red Line established his first yarn dyeing plant using old techniques and recipes from the renowned art of Eastern dyeing, which was learned and brought over from Sparta of Asia Minor.
1945
In 1945 another milestone was reached, the family cross over to Dyeing and Finishing of textiles in a new factory based in Nea Ionia.
1979
The company passed down a generation to his grandson Pavlos Thomoglou
took over the reigns and expanded to a large 40-acre plant operating processing and dyeing of textiles in Inofita Viotias, were he continues the same tradition with his children until today.
